Has hollywood realized their need to target the motorcycle enthuisiasts as an audience? There has been two notable movies focused on motorcycles within the past year.

Motorcycle Diaries, based on a true life story, The Motorcycle Diaries is an inspiring and thrilling advtenture that traces the youthful origins of a revolutionary spirit. The movie is primarly in subtitles and filmed in South America.  The story era took place in the 1940s.

The World's Fastest Indian was filmed in both the US and New Zealand is based on a true story. Anthony Hopkins as the main character, was relentless in pursuit of breaking a speed record in Utah during the 1950s.

Both of these movies are available on DVD and are worth a watch if you have time. The two newest movie trailers that caught I eye were:

  • Ghost Rider (Based on a Marvel Comic) Opening 2-16-2007
Featuring cast: Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes
  • Wild Hogs (Comedy) Opening March 2, 2007
Featuring cast: Tim Allen, John Travolta, Martin Lawrence, and William H. Macy
